Scope of Work/Description:
Scope of services (Refinery) QatarEnergy Refinery complex consists of one (1) crude-based Refinery, one (1) gas condensate-based Refinery and RFCC. The complex has many common utility units and off-site facilities. The different units of the Refinery complex were commissioned in a phased manner as follows: a) Refinery No. 2: 9 units (Units 11 to 19) - 1982 b) Condensate Refinery & its Utilities: 5 units (Unit 61 to 65) - 2001 c) RFCC & its Utilities: 9 units (Units 41 to 49) - 2002 QatarEnergy intends to avail, for a period of five (5) calendar years, the SERVICES of a CONTRACTOR to provide inspection services on call-off basis in Refinery plant, MIC area and Berth# 6 for all the stationary equipment (furnaces, pressure vessels, storage equipment, columns, drums, exchangers, coolers, air coolers, reactors and the like), piping and its components, structures, and other associated miscellaneous items. This does not include TA related maintenance NDT inspection services, which will be dealt separately. Conventional NDT: 1 UTG 2 UFDT of welds. 3 Corrosion Scanning/ Lamination Testing of Pipes and Vessel Plates 4 PT. 5 MT. 6. Pulsed Eddy current 7. RT including digital RT (CRT and Direct Real time RT) Advanced NDT 1 In situ Metallography (Replica) Examination. 2 IRIS/ ECT 3 Automatic UT scanning 4 TOFD for pressure vessels & piping. 5 PAUT with TFM software capability. 6 GW-LRUT. 7 ACFM. Special Tests 1 Mechanical Testing for failure analysis. 2 Surface Topography and Chemical Analysis. 3 Chemical Analysis with xRD and Fluorescence Techniques. 4 Chemical analysis with ICP-OES/xRF. 5 Chemical analysis by wet chemistry analysis. 6 Chemical analysis by atomic absorption spectroscopy. 7 HIC Test. 8 SSCC. 9 Tests for Chloride Stress Corrosion Cracks. 10 Inter-granular Corrosion Test. 11 CTOD 12 Metallographic Examination. 13 Failure Analysis. 14 FFS Study and Analysis.
