Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Rock Island District is soliciting Capability and/or Product Statements from all qualified and interested firms to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources.

The requirement as part of the USACE Navigation and Ecosystem Sustainability Program (NESP), the Rock Island District seeks to lease up to two (2) 2400 HP towboats with operating personnel. The boat will be used on the Mississippi River from Lock 20, Canton, MO, (Mile 345) to Lock 25, Winfield, MO, (Mile 240). Towboats will assist with all phases of lockage to increase lock performance (e.g. approach, securing the first cut, and haulage remake). The towboat will also assist with ice management and other operations as needed for the Rock Island and St. Louse Districts as directed by the Contracting Officer or authorized representative.

The Government seeks contractors with the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements to submit Capability and/or Product Statements consisting of appropriate technical information, documentation, literature, brochures, and past performance references. Contractors must include references and a capability statement for at least two (2) completed or current contracts or agreements, for which your firm was the prime contractor/vendor (or a major subcontractor) within the last three (3) years of work similar in size, scope, and complexity.
