The intent of this RFP is to find a Successful Proponent capable of providing the Work described immediately below. A more detailed description of the Work can be found in Appendix 1 (Information).
EPCOR is seeking a Proponent to engineer, supply and deliver medium voltage switchgear to EPCOR on an as-required basis. The switchgear shall be custom built to the attached Technical Specification provided in Schedule D - Attachments. There are three (3) types of configurations of the switchgear, referred to as TYPE 1, TYPE 2 and TYPE 3. The purchase of each configuration shall include all switchgear and control requirements as indicated in the Technical Specification.
The Successful Proponent will enter into a Contract to supply EPCOR with medium voltage Switchgear for the next three years, with EPCOR-s option to extend for two additional terms of one year each.
EPCOR may award to more than one Successful Proponent(s). The award of the Work (whether it be one Successful Proponent for all types of switchgear) or multiple Successful Proponents (for one type of switchgear or combinations of switchgear types) will be at EPCOR-s discretion, as the submissions as they relate to types of configurations of the switchgear will be evaluated independently.
