COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION - National Oncology Pedigree Software This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written Solicitation is attached. This requirement is issued on a full and open competition basis as an unrestricted solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center will negotiate and award a firm-fixed-price, five (5) year, option-type contract procuring a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) genetic pedigree software for the Veterans Healthcare Administration genetic counselors within the National Precision Oncology Program which is seeking to improve cancer care by integrating data specific and genetic risk into the medical record using a genetic risk assessment application. A genetic pedigree software is a specialized software application designed to assist healthcare professionals, genetic counselors, and researchers in managing, visualizing, and analyzing family pedigrees. Its primary purpose is to facilitate the assessment of family history and genetic risk factors, aiding in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of genetic disorders. Additionally, genetic pedigree tools support data management, reporting, and educational resources, making them indispensable tools for both clinical practice and genetic research. The genetic pedigree software shall assist healthcare professionals, genetic counselors, and researchers in managing, visualizing, and analyzing family pedigrees.
