On Behalf Of The Union Station Partnership (Usp), The Connecticut Department Of Transportation (Ctdot) Issues This Request For Qualifications (Rfq) To Seek Project Concepts And Qualifications From Qualified Developers For A Transit Oriented Development (Tod) Of The Property Known As The East Lot At New Haven Union Station (Nhus). Ctdot And The City Of New Haven (City) Are Parties To The Usp, With The New Haven Parking Authority (Nhpa) Acting As Operational Lead For The Nhus Campus On Behalf Of The City. The Usp Will First Select Qualified Developers Through This Rfq Process And Then, From A Short List Of Qualified Parties, Select The Developer For The Tod Via A Subsequent Request For Proposals (Rfp) Process. The Selected Developer Will Be Expected To Have An Exceptional Design And Market Basis For The Tod Which Also Recognizes The Critical Importance Of Community And Stakeholder Involvement To The Project Delivery Process.
