Notice of Intent to Award a Contract
Notice is hereby given that the City of Abbotsford (the “City”) is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to Sabine Mendez (the “Service Provider”) for the following:
Provides community building and collaborative services as they relate to social issues, including housing, homelessness, and other layers of the social service system and relationships within them.
The services provider has developed a network that ensure the various layers of the social services network in Abbotsford are integrating services, convening regularly, coordinating on initiatives, and working collaboratively towards a coordinated response relating to communication, service delivery, and subsequent initiatives.
The contract will be for a 6 month term to provide time for the City to consider organizational needs. A request for proposals will be issued should the City require the services continue through an external contractor.
