THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE - THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT-S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD CONTRACT TO BLOOMBERG FINANCIAL L. P FOR BLOOMBERG TERMINAL SUBSCRIPTION @ BLOOMBERG ANYWHERE.

The Department of Defense (DOD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) on behalf of the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) intends to award a follow-on sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Bloomberg Finance L.P. (731 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10022), to provide Bloomberg Terminal® Subscription Bloomberg Anywhere. To meet its mission, DIU requires the renewal of Bloomberg Terminal® Subscription Bloomberg Anywhere licenses so they can continue to monitor and analyze real-time financial market data. The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) accelerates commercial innovation for national defense. DIU takes mission-critical problems from the Department of Defense (DoD) and then finds potential solutions from the private sector, focusing strongly on U.S. innovation ecosystems (i.e., Silicon Valley, Boston/Cambridge, and Austin, Texas). The Bloomberg terminal subscription Bloomberg Anywhere is only available through Bloomberg Financial L.P. The Bloomberg Terminal® is the world-s leading interactive financial information network, seamlessly integrating the very best in real-time data, news, research, and analytics. In addition, Bloomberg Terminal provides:• On-demand multi-media content.• Extensive electronic trading capabilities.

As such, this vendor has unique and proprietary all-inclusive data and analytics resources that provides insight into approximately five (5) million global corporate entities that are not available elsewhere.
