1. Support the activities related to in-depth businessdiagnostics for selected SMEs: The consultant will support the assessments ofbusiness operations, financial health, market position, production process, carried out by an international team. The consultant will support thepreparation of a detailed diagnostic reports with actionable recommendationstailored to each SME's unique circumstances.2. Leverage a network of experts in production optimization, strategydevelopment, export support, financial management, and HR, for ad-hocconsultancy: Identify and contractsubject matter experts based on project needs and SME requirements. Scheduleand coordinate expert consultations, workshops, and training sessions.Integrate expert recommendations into the overall project deliverables, ensuring a cohesive approach to SME support.3. Guide and assist the SMEs to optimize production processesto improve efficiency and reduce operational costs: Guide and assist the SMEs to conductprocess mapping and identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in productionworkflows. Provide guidance for implementation or improvement of leanmanufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuousimprovement techniques. Provide training on production planning, inventorymanagement, and quality control to enhance operational efficiency.4. Assess and promote the adoption of advanced technologiesin the manufacturing sector to enhance operational capabilities: Evaluate and asses currenttechnology use within SMEs and identify gaps and opportunities for digitaltransformation.
