The objective of this work is to safely complete aerial surveys of moose and white-tailed deer within WMU 504, 506 and 509 This work involves low-level maneuvering, at low air speeds, to count and classify animals in farmland and forested landscapes to estimate density, and age and sex composition. These population inventory surveys will be conducted by means of transects. Survey design will be based on Distance Sampling methods.
