Description

The purpose of this special notice is to provide the Government-s intent to issue a sole source contract for certified athletic trainer services to support worldwide Athletic Training services within Marine Operating Forces (OPFOR) Formations. Services include integrated, performance-based strength and conditioning programs, rehabilitative, and injury preventative programs that will reduce injuries, attrition and lost workdays associated with musculoskeletal injuries, and accelerate the return to duty of those encumbered by performance related injuries. A sole source award will be made on the basis of other than full and open competition under the authority of FAR 13.501(a). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned is 621340, Offices of Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists, and Audiologists with a size standard of $12.5 million.

This bridge contract will provide on-site Certified Athletic Trainers to execute professional services in human performance. Human performance which includes integrated, performance-based physical conditioning programs, rehabilitative and pre-habilitative programs that will mitigate and accelerate the return to duty of those encumbered by performance related injuries. The contract will include Firm Fixed Price (FFP) line items for support services and Cost Reimbursable (COST) line items for travel. The estimated period of performance will be a base period of three (3) months and two (2) one-month option periods to start 18 March 2025. The anticipated award date is 17 March 2025.
