SUBJECT: Notice of Intent to Raise Maximum Contract Ceiling - Multiple Award IDIQ
Architectural and Engineering Services (A&E)
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY: The purpose of this action is to provide a notice of intent that Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (Corporation) intends to enter into a Sole Source Contract ceiling increase for the multiple award Architectural and Engineering Services (A&E) IDIQ(s). This action would increase the maximum IDIQ contract ceiling from $750, 000.00 to $5, 000, 000.00.
The current Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is close to reaching its maximum ceiling value. The ordering period of performance goes through 27 September 2026. The increase of the IDIQ maximum ceiling will allow GLS to continue providing A&E Services, as needed, on projects for maintaining and improving GLS facilities in Massena, New York. Tasks may include reconnaissance, preparing design reports, specifications and drawings in AutoCAD, on-site inspections of construction work in progress, project management, etc.
Contract Award and Solicitation: The subject requirement was originally competed with full and open competition. Multiple awards were made to the contractors listed below. Three (3) contracts were awarded with a base year of twelve (12) months and four option periods consisting of twelve (12) months each for a total of five (5) years. The current maximum contract ceiling is $750, 000.00 which is available throughout the life of the contract and not split between the years. The period of performance is 28 September 2021 thru 27 September 2026 (base and all options).
