Description

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) intends to purchase Transportation and Logistics Global Positioning System (GPS) devices to be used during a public health emergency. The Contractor shall provide Global Positioning System (GPS) devices, Solo 5G Tracker, Non-Lithium P/N TT-7100 or equal, to include: Rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride battery (2200 mAh, 3.6 V) Active life: 22+ days (60 min reporting interval), Software Access, Website or Web link, Shelf life: 12 months. Transportation and delivery of 100 each tracking devices shipped via overnight delivery to City and State identified by the SNS. Pursuant to Presidential Decision Directives 39 and 62 and Sections 311 and 319 of the Public Health Service Act, SNS storage locations are sensitive and should not be disclosed. The exact location shall be provided at time of contract award. The objective is the purchase of tracking devices to be integrated with the movement of Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) pallets while SNS product is enroute to a delivery location. As SNS committee to enhancing efficiency, safety, and transparency in our logistics operations, we believe that this tracking devices will significantly benefit our operations by providing real-time Global Positioning System (GPS) visibility, a GPS location of SNS product and improved management of our shipment-s locations at a 100% accuracy. The purchase these tracking devices shall meet SNS logistical operational needs. This is a notice of intent and not a request for proposals. The Government intends to solicit, negotiate and award to only one contractor using Simplified Acquisition Procedures pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1).
