Description

TITLE: Matrix Logger-Pathfinder WinchNotice of Intent to Sole SourceThe Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Acquisitions Branch intends to award a Firm Fixed Priced Commercial Item to Mount Sopris Instrument Company, Inc. for the purchase to procure 1) a Matrix Logger borehole data acquisition system, 2) a Pathfinder Winch, 3) a Pathfinder Winch accessories and maintenance kit, 4) a Single-Conductor QL-40 Top tool head adaptor, 5) a QL40-SFM Spinner Borehole Flowmeter with a 3-inch impeller and cage assembly, and 6) a 2-inch Spinner Borehole Flowmeter impeller and cage assembly. These parts are all compatible with and will be integrated into the existing set of borehole tools and data processing software package ¿WellCAD¿. Matrix Logger Pathfinder Winch is on a sole source basis. The intended procurement is classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334516 Search, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing.The determination not to compete this proposed Order was made pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii), ¿ only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government anticipates award by August 2024.This is the only Notice that will be published. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.Delivery:6-8 weeks after receipt of order.This notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order is not a request for competitive proposals.However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.
