This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items. The ACC-APG Installation and Technology Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Tinius Olsen Testing Machine Company (Small Business) Cage Code 44845. The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), Installation and Technology Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), 6472 Integrity Court, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005 has a requirement to procure the following:
Quantity: 1 Each
•Retrofit, ETM 602 Manual control to VMC
•Strain module for US type loadcell to fit VMC, installed and calibrated
Quantity: 2 Each
•Model 300SL, Rack & Pinion, 2ft longer columns, standard screws, 230 voltage, custom engineered for remote operation, installed and calibrated
•Horizon software materials testing primary platform with metals library
•Horizon closed loop AFM
