Sources Sought Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 17, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 is seeking sources for the following procurement:Solar Mercury 50 Gas Turbine Engine Exchange (Dallas VAMC)GENERAL SCOPE OF WORKThe Solar Gas Turbine Mercury 50 SER# PG12848 at DVAMC is approaching 4400 operating hours and is in critical need of an Engine Exchange. The turbines are becoming hazardous to personnel to operate due to the wear and tear of operation past the recommended hours. Along with the engine changeout, the contractor will accomplish several upgrades including the air intake ducting, Software, Hardware, and redirect the enclosure exhaust to outside the turbine yard. This overhaul and included upgrades will extend the life of our COGEN system and greatly enhance our electrical load handling capabilities.Location: Dallas VAMC, 4500 Period of Performance: Within 30 Days After Award***See attached Statement of Work- Draft***NCO 17 is seeking sources that have the capability of providing these services. Firms that can provide these services are encouraged to respond to the sources sought notice by contacting the point of contact.
