Tenders are invited for OBR Vehicle and Motorcycle Insurance.

1. Purpose of the contract

The Burundian Revenue Office (OBR) invites, through this Call for Tenders,

tenderers admitted to compete, to present their offers in envelopes

closed for the insurance of vehicles and motorcycles of the OBR, the specifications of which

techniques, number of vehicles and types of coverage are defined in the

this Tender Document.

2. Market financing

The Burundian Revenue Office intends to finance the execution of this contract from its

funds for the 2023-2024 budget year.

3. Market Specifications

The procurement will be conducted by an Open National Call for Tenders (AONO)

as defined in the Public Procurement Code of Burundi.

The services provided for under this contract are provided in a single lot. These

services will be provided from the respective dates specified in the tables in

Annex.

4. Conditions of participation

Participation in the market is open, under equal conditions, to all people

legal entities practicing insurance operations, possessing legal capacities,

technical and financial necessary for the execution of the contract. Cannot participate in

the Call for Tenders any bidder affected by one of the incapacity rules

listed in article 161 of the Public Procurement Code in Burundi.

Non-profit associations and non-governmental organizations are not

not eligible for this market.
