Description

This is a NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA)/SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS.

This is NOT a solicitation. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division Contracting Branch, (AFLCMC/HNCK), Joint Base San Antonio Lackland intends to award, on a sole source basis, a Fixed Price Purchase Contract for the following Cryptographic COMSEC equipment:

PN 3228-0002-06-x Labels (UID labels, Name plates, Software labels, Tamper labels) (650 each); PN 111205-0301-1 AEK Battery card assembly (The AEK battery assembly provides power to the memory mechanism that retains the AEK key on the receive card in the radio. The assembly supports the memory hold up function through the operational environment specifications for the radio.); and Program Management Office (PMO) Level of Effort (LOE).To the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), DRS Advanced ISR, LLC, CAGE: 0CDN3.

The proposed contract action is for the purchase of labels, AEK Battery Card Assembly and PMO LOE for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source In Accordance With (IAW) 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The Government intends to make an award by August 2024.
