Expression of Interest are invited for Optimization of Energy Project Locations in the Dominican Republic
This study aims to advise the Government of the Dominican Republic on the optimal locations for the development of renewable energy (RE) projects to inform the preparation for future auctions and update the least-cost generation and transmission expansion plans. The assignment will entail RE resource mapping; existing and future expansion of the transmission networks; land availability; areas vulnerable to disaster and climate-related hazards; and access to and quality of the road network and transport infrastructure such as ports.
