Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 70Z03823QH0000062 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-01 effective 12/30/2022. This requirement will be satisfied using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336411. The small business size standard is 1, 250 employees.
Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide these overhauls are invited to submit quotes in accordance with the requirements stipulated in this solicitation.
The Government anticipates that a firm-fixed-price purchase order will be issued for overhaul of the components/items specified in the Schedule as a result of this synopsis/solicitation. Price quotes shall be provided on the attached Schedule.
NOTE: No drawings, specifications, or schematics are available from this agency.
The USCG intends to issue an order for a quantity of five (5) overhauls. Per FAR 52.217-6 Option for Increased Quantity, the USCG may increase the quantity by four (4) of P/N: 880T100, four (4) of P/N: L16-8-3, and eight (8) of P/N: 8656M2 overhauls, for a maximum quantity of twenty one (21) at the same unit price as the original order, for up to three hundred and sixty-five (365) days after the initial award date.
