Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a solicitation, negotiate, and award a contract, on an other than full and open basis under FAR 6.302, to The Boeing Company (Boeing), Seattle, WA for the procurement of the integration of Anti-jam Tactical UHF Radio Waveform on the P-8A Poseidon platform. Boeing is the P-8A Poseidon Original Equipment Manufacturer and is the only source that has the knowledge, experience, expertise, facilities, equipment, qualified personnel, technical data, and computer software necessary to timely fulfill the requirements. The contemplated contract action will include non-recurring engineering, lab testing, aircraft installation, ground test, and support of flight test. It will include the full integration of the waveform system on one P-8A. The contract action is planned to be awarded in the second quarter of the Government Fiscal Year 2025 (Q2FY25) with the contractor completing contract requirements by FY27.
