Under the authority of FAR 13.106 (1) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The purchase of a Photon Doppler Velocimeter (PDV) is requested to enable measurement of target velocities to determine impact stress.The service is to provide Traverse Solutions and Instrumentation, LLC The anticipated award date of this action is on or before 29 August 2024.The purchase of a Photon Doppler Velocimeter (PDV) is requested to enable measurement of target velocities to determine impact stress. Within the physics department shock physics research laboratory, support to both research and student course labs is performed. Primary measurements leverage 1D shock impact studies to perform material studies under high strain rate studies.
