Expression of Interest are invited for Pilot Instrument to Enhance Digitalization of MSMEs

The World Bank Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice (FCI GP) is seeking to contract a qualified firm or consortium (hereinafter: the Consultant) for the pilot provision of a pilot instrument under the Digitrans Project.

The Consultant will help implement an outreach strategy and obtain over 300 applications, and support 130 Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Firms (MSMEs) in Bulgaria with relevant services (‘Pilot Instrument') to increase the adoption and utilization of digital technologies.

The World Bank will share with the Consultant draft methodologies, tools for implementation, and master training protocols for the Pilot instrument. Still, the Consultant will be responsible for customizing these materials to suit the local context and the specific needs. Additionally, the Consultant must collaborate with the World Bank to arrange for training of trainers and any other activities to ensure the Pilot Instrument is effectively aligned with its objectives. Furthermore, the appointed Consultant will be responsible for gathering monitoring data both during and after the support period to allow the World Bank to control implementation quality and, if needed, introduce mitigation measures in a timely manner.
