Tenders are invited for Piloting Psychometric Scoring to Increase MSME Access to Finance in Senegal

The Assignment will Consist of Developing a Psychometric Scoring Model that will be Run on the Regional Uemoa Credit Bureau Platform, Using Well-Known Statistical Scoring Modeling Techniques with the Addition of Psychological Science. The Model will be Used by Two Pilot Mfis Selected by Ifc. The Two Piloting Mfis will be Provided with a Free Usage 24 Months License, the Minimum Period Necessary for the Scorecard to Become Robust and for the Process to be Assimilated by the Mfis.
The Model will be Based on Psychological Constructs for Risk Assessment, Linking with Financial Behavior and the Use of Imaging and Quizzes in Risk Assessment, Allowing the Predictive System to Capture a Well-Rounded Personal Profile. The Resulting Score is then Used to Identify Creditworthy Individuals Especially in the No-File or Thin-File Segments, including Auto-Entrepreneurs and Micro Firms in Senegal, Thus Expanding the Client Base of Financial Institutions and Ultimately Improving Financial Inclusion.
