The Federal Republic of Germany (client), represented by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV), intends to place an order for the provision of exploration and salvage services in the BMUV immediate program "Contaminated Ammunition in Northernand Baltic Sea" to be awarded. As part of the emergency program, the feasibility of a safe, efficient and environmentally friendly salvage and disposal of contaminated ammunition in an exemplary ammunition dumping area in the Baltic Sea is to be demonstrated. The exploration and salvage to be tenderedng services primarily serve to gain knowledge about the condition of salvaged ordnance and to determine key figures for salvage in ammunition dumping areas, which flow into the further development of a mobile, floating disposal facility.
