Aland's regional government hereby invites interested tenderers to participate in this procurement regarding consulting assignments for the establishment of a general plan, including environmental assessment for sea areas for offshore wind farms for parts of the North Sea on Aland. The assignment is planned to be carried out during 2023-2025investigations, preparation of general plans including environmental assessment of the Aland sea areas mainly for measures on construction and operation of wind turbines and cable laying. The provincial government intends to commission the consultancy work with the planning and the environmental assessment as a whole, in order to boththe parts can be prepared in parallel and with continuous exchange of information.
This procurement is part of the project Sunnanvind that the provincial government is implementing. Project Sunnanvind's basic idea is to enable the construction of large-scale offshore wind power on Aland.
