Planning, construction and operation of WLAN hotspots for the state of Hesse ("HessenWLAN").
Components of WLAN hotspots
Internet connection
The Internet connection describes the connection of the hotspot to the Internet. It includes unrestricted access to the Internet, its use according to defined parameters and all usage-dependent fees. The Internet connection can, depending on availability, be implemented in one of the required technologies:
- xDSL - An on-demand Technology changeel between ADSL and VDSL must be possible.
- Broadband cable network technologies (e.g. coax networks)
-Fiber optic (e.g. FTTB)
