Tenders are invited for Plastics Market Study and Impact Assessment of Plastics Policies for Türkiye (and Georgia)

The assignment will be carried out in Turkiye. The inclusion of Georgia in this assignment is anticipated; however will be confirmed after the EOI.The objective of this assessment is to enhance the understanding of growth drivers and barriers to scaling-up 3R approaches in Türkiye with regards to plastics. For this purpose; the Consultant will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the plastics market in Türkiye; including barriers and opportunities; which would help prioritize public and drive private-sector solutions and investments and promote management of used plastic as a valuable “resource” rather than a “waste” that is indiscriminately or cheaply discarded. It will further increase the understanding of implications of different plastic policy reform scenarios; and thus support plastics policy making.
