PRE-RELEASE NOTICE ONLY : This pre-release notice is to advise of the upcoming approach to market, a Request for Tender (RFT), scheduled for release by the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). The RFT will seek offers for the provision of Navy Platforms and Systems Training Services. The Services are to assist the RAN deliver a suitably trained and qualified workforce to operate and maintain Navy Platforms and Systems, where Platforms and Systems means the : a. Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) ships; b. Hobart Class Guided Missile Destroyers (DDG); c. Mine Hunter Coastal (MHC) vessels; d. Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment (AOR) ships; and e. associated systems and equipment on those ships. To maximise industry understanding of the requirements and RAN context, RAN intends to hold an industry briefing shortly after the release of the RFT.
