Description
1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Notice to determine any potential sources for information and planning purposes only. AMIC DET-2 OL/PKA and AFTAC are seeking information from potential sources to purchase Portable x-Ray Fluorescence (xRF) Analyzer for Uranium
Technical Requirements
The portable xRF analyzer must be able to identify uranium in the field, while also meeting the
following requirements: portable (capable of being held using a single hand), simple operator use (point-and-shoot via a button or trigger), compatible with different beam size or collimator options than the default beam size, less than 5 lb, an operating temperature range of roughly 14 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, dust resistant, and durable (made for outdoor/in-field operational use, not a laboratory setting).
2. INFORMATION REQUESTED
2.1 Company Information: Company name, mailing address, telephone

2.2 Contract Type: Identify any contract vehicle that would be available to
the Government for the procurement of these products and services, to
include General Service Administration (GSA), GSA MOBIS, NASA SEWP, Federal
Supply Schedules (FSS), or any other Government Agency contract vehicle.
2.3 NAICS: Identify any alternative NAICS code recommendations.
2.4 Business Size: If a small business under the identified NAICS code,
indicate the approximate percentage of the requirement your firm is able to
perform. If a large business, identify an appropriate percentage for small
business subcontracting opportunities.
