Tender Details

The subject of the contract is the re-management of the four medium-sized research vessels "Maria S. Merian", "Alkor", "Elisabeth Mann Borgese" and "Heincke" over a maximum term of 11 years (5 years basic term plus two extension options of three years each) bundled by a roadsteadr.

The service is expected to begin on January 1, 2025 (subject to change). Until then, a temporary continuation of the existing contract was agreed with the existing shipowner, since the start of the order - for all ships at the same time - on January 1, 2024 is considered by Aufwould be a hindrance to competition (too short preparation time, planned shipyard times, bundled award of all ships, etc.).
