Ports of Jersey (‘PoJ-) is currently underway with the development of an Airport Masterplan. This Masterplan includes modernising and optimising the Departures Lounge (‘DL-) to meet current and future passenger needs in line with our strategic business plans. To support the DL redevelopment, a concept design has been developed for the ground floor of the terminal building.
Ports of Jersey programme wide objectives are:
• Develop areas of the ground floor of the DL, unit size approximately 2000sqm
• Ensure capacity to accommodate passenger growth
• Modernise and replace ageing infrastructure
• Embed sustainability into every aspect of the airport
• Create a coherent sense of place for Jersey Airport.
• Accessibility and inclusivity for passengers with disabilities
Ports of Jersey are looking to appoint a principal contractor to undertake all works associated with Phase 1 of the Jersey airport departures lounge redevelopment. The works during Phase 1 will entail enabling works to facilitate the temporary routing of passengers whilst the work for Phases 2 and 3 are undertaken.
