Information session on the procurement of basic information technology services for the city of Vantaa
The city of Vantaa is preparing the procurement of city-wide basic information technology services. The goal of the acquisition is to renew the basic information technology services to reflect the modern way of working and the digitalization and tethe development of technology. Vantaa is looking for suppliers who understand and take into account Vantaa's special characteristics and goals and are ready to create basic IT services suitable for it in cooperation with Vantaa.
The procurement is intended to be organized as a competition in accordance with the Procurement Actas an additional negotiation procedure, where Vantaa and the selected bidders have the opportunity to negotiate extensively about the goals of basic information technology services, the services included in the procurement, functionalities and cost levels.
Preliminarily, the procurement includes the following service areas: i)User support services; ii) Life cycle services of workstations; iii) Mobile device lifecycle services; iv) Server usage and capacity services; v) Management services for cloud services; vi) Information security services; vii) Identity management services; and viii) the aforementioned are supplemented by expert advicevelut For the sake of clarification, the purchase does not include the purchase of terminals, communication connections between Vantaa offices or mobile subscriptions.
