Description: 1) Background and purpose
Its (abbreviation for "safety nets") is Denmark's nationwide radio network for emergency communication. Pursuant to § 29 of the Emergency Act (Act No. 660 of 10 June 2009 with subsequent amendments) and § 1 of the Connection Order (Executive Order No. 262 of 22 April 2008), its used by both government, municipal and regional emergency authorities for solution of own and common emergency tasks. It must also be used by private actors who solve emergency tasks for the aforementioned authorities. Furthermore, its could be used by other actors within or related to the contingency area and of actors who carry out tasks of importance to emergency.
Its delivered today by a private enterprise (hereinafter "current service provider") under an agreement concluded 29 June 2007 in the light of a competitive dialogue, see. 2006 / S 109-116975.
