BRIEF BACKGROUND
DOT xII conducted SOx Tourism Product Audit and Inventory Caravan to emerging and potential tourism destinations last April 26 - May 7, 2021 with the objective of assessing potential and emerging tourism destinations in region 12. The team assessed 35 LGUs and more than 50 destinations. After the said assessment, a Circuit Local Validation was conducted last April - May of 2022 to validate tourism destinations to be included in the SOx Tourism Circuits.
