Vesar handles garden waste from 6 owner municipalities in Vestfold. A potential of 30, 000 tonnes/year in the region is estimated. Vesar would like to establish energy and climate efficient management of park and garden waste. Studies have shown that this is best done through the construction of a pyrolysis facility at Rygg Environment Park, Tønsberg, with the capture of CO2 in bio-charcoal. Both the establishment of the facility and its operation will be included in the framework of this notice. Vesar would like to have a dialogue with possible suppliers that are connected to the market, technology, innovation, and owership and operation models. The dialogue will be held via individual meetings.
