The Steinfurt district has been using a geo-redundant internet connection for several years. This connection is routed disjointly at edges and nodes. The current bandwidth is 1 Gigabit synchronous. All extensions are also accessible via the district administration's Internet connection through the VPN connectionslen connected.
Procurement of a geo-redundant Internet connection
The physical expansion of up to 10 gigabit on the primary and backup line should therefore be created, which will initially be connected with a bandwidth of 2.5 gigabit/s on the active line. A DDoS protection must also be providedtz be ensured.
