RATIONALE
• This seminar is designed to enhance your understanding of the festival and events
industry and its role within a wider leisure and business context and how these relate

OBJECTIVES
• To equip the participants with the knowledge and ability to facilitate festivals in their
respective municipalities; and
• Aim to enhance and broaden the expertise of tourism stakeholders within the province
