As a result of this public procurement procedure, the tenderer wishes to implement the development of an irrigation system. The purpose of the development is to increase the yield of crop cultivation in the area included in the water rights license with the appropriate amount of irrigation water applied during the development stage of the vegetation.This requires the purchase of irrigation water, its transport, its temporary storage and application using appropriate technology.
The goal of the development is a water- and energy-saving irrigation plant with a center pivot system on a 463 ha agricultural area on the outskirts of Mezőkoevesd and Tardby exercising sustainable water management activities and using surface water resources.
