Request for proposals are invited for Production of Video Series in Ghana and the Kyrgyz Republic
USAID Advancing Nutrition under JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI) is soliciting proposals to identify a firm/organization to develop a series of videos for health workers and other early childhood service providers in low resource settings (here forth referred to as “counselors”). The videos will depict real caregivers interacting with their children and can be used to model (or demonstrate), explain and promote responsive care practices related to nutrition and health care services. The video series will be filmed in two low- and middle-income countries, and will include a set of eight (8) videos: four (4) short videos (ranging in length from about 8-10 minutes each), and two (2) longer instructional videos (ranging in length from 12 to 15 minutes each, each with versions in two (2) languages, for a total of four (4) longer videos). The videos will be used in capacity strengthening initiatives that support health workers in counseling caregivers. Two of the short videos will be focused exclusively in Ghana and two in the Kyrgyz Republic. The 2 longer instructional videos will combine footage captured in both countries, and will include one or more counselors in each country.
