Description : Ingeus are seeking proposals from a professional role-playing organisation that can provide highly skilled, diverse and versatile population of actors to enact the role of claimants during Work Capability Assessment and Personal Independence Payment assessments. Assessments will be completed with trainee assessors as part of their consolidation of learning and practice opportunities. The primary medium of MS Teams (no camera) will be required to simulate a telephone assessment, however, there will be cases and cohorts where video will be required and greater physical movements will need to be observed. At this stage, minimal in-person actors required. The actors will receive a brief and high-level script to cover each area of likely questioning that the student will undertake such as medications being taken, functional impact of conditions and symptoms experienced. The actor will need to be versed and practiced in how to behave as per the character of the claimant which will be covered in the script with the aim of simulating real world assessments.
