The Friedrich Schiller University Jena intends to buy a programmable optical filter for a wavelength range in the Telekom C and L band (1610 Nm) for research purposes. The programmable filter is to be used to characterize frequency struggles and quantum light sources in integrated photonic wave ladder networks. The programmable filter is said to be part of a measuring zone for examining quantum and non-linear effects in integrated photonic circuits in the wavelength range around the Telekom C band. A measuring range in the near infrared from 1525 Nm to 1610 Nm is considered with a high spectral resolution. Due to the extremely narrow-to-narrow and spectral emission of the integrated frequency combat, a high resolution is required. Furthermore, light to be measured must be divided into different optical fibers or combined into a fiber.
The following technical requirements result from these conditions specified by the experimental boundary conditions: see Appendix 2.
