Under the leadership of N I 1, BMUV is prepared on the basis of the future framework program of the CBD (currently: "First Draft", new global biodiversity framework for autumn 2022) and the EU biodiversity strategy 2030 since the end of 2019 the in terms of content-strategic reorientation of the national biodiversity strategy Post 2020 in front. The aim of the new strategy is a high level of ambition for a future -oriented biodiversity strategy with a transformative character.
In addition to the (new) "National Biodiversity Stra Tegie" with long-term (2030 ff) orientation and (around 40) quality goals, the new concept "Post 2020" sees a "national action plan" with medium-term (3-5 years) orientation and concrete measures or Action goals in around 15 fields of action.
