In order to avoid a risk to bird train in the face of the expansion goals of offshore wind energy, the development of innovative protective measures is required. The aim of the research project is to identify a predictive system for bird train, which is permanently suitable for use in the German AWZ. On the basis of research, the exchange with national and international experts on bird train as well as representatives of the authorities involved, a concept sketch is created, which is the state of the state of science and technology, existing administrative hurdles, the central question of location availability and suitable radar or Represents camera systems. In a follow -up project (in the years 2025/26), building on this project with the implementation of an overarching system to predict bird train is to be started.
