AGENCY: National Institute of Standards and Technology, Department of Commerce

ACTION: Notice; prospective grant of exclusive patent license.

SUMMARY: This is a notice in accordance with 35 U.S.C. 209(e) and 37 CFR 404.7(a)(1)(i) that the National Institute of Standards and Technology (“NIST”), U.S. Department of Commerce, is contemplating the grant to Great Sky Inc., of Boulder, Colorado, of an exclusive license to NIST's interest in the inventions embodied in the following patents and patent applications:



a. United States Patent No. 11, 258, 415, issued February 22, 2022, and entitled, “NEUROMIMETIC CIRCUIT” [NIST Reference no. 17-001US1];

b. United States Provisional Patent Application Serial No. 62/450, 266, filed January 25, 2017, and entitled, “OPTOELECTRONIC NEURAL NETWORKS” [NIST Reference no. 17-001P1];

c. United States Patent No. 11, 283, 002, issued March 22, 2022, and entitled, “JOSEPHSON JUNCTION CIRCUITS FOR SINGLE-PHOTON OPTOELECTRONIC NEURONS AND SYNAPSES” [NIST Reference no. 18-010CP1];

d. United States Provisional Patent Application Serial No. 62/720, 871, filed August 21, 2018, and entitled, “JOSEPHSON JUNCTION CIRCUITS FOR SINGLE-PHOTON OPTOELECTRONIC NEURONS AND SYNAPSES” [NIST Reference no. 18-010P1];
