Request for proposals are invited for Provide Sustainable Food Security Initiatives in Komga, Eastern Cape.
The Chaba Winds of Change Community Trust is committed to creating positive change in the community of Komga, South Africa. We are dedicated to addressing the issue of food security and are seeking proposals from organisations that can provide sustainable and impactful solutions to tackle this critical problem.
Background: Analysis of the Komga community indicated that the community faces significant challenges in achieving sustainable food security due to limited access to nutritious food, poverty, unemployment, and climate change impact the community's ability to meet its food needs. Chaba Winds of Change Community Trust aims to address these challenges by partnering with organisations that have the expertise, resources, and passion to make a tangible difference.
Objective: The primary objective of this RFP is to identify and select a suitable organisation that can implement innovative, effective and sustainable strategies to improve food security in Komga. The selected respondent(s) will work closely with Chaba Winds of Change Community Trust to design, develop, and execute sustainable solutions that empower the community and enhance its food resilience.
