Tenders are invited for Providing of Video Platform.
Vendor needs to provide video platform.
- For the planning, configuration, and implementation of a hosted video platform/content management system.
- This project is to establish a hosted video content management system that facilitates the playback of videos created by University of Massachusetts faculty, staff, students, and other content providers
- The video platform is should facilitate easy uploading and storage of video files, transcoding of various video types into Web-ready formats and HTML 5
- It should also support other responsive formats for compatibility with various devices such as web browsers, smartphones, Apple iPhone, iPad, Android devices, and more.
- The selected enterprise level video platform will allow for multiple sub accounts so each campus or department can manage their own storage and distribution video files and view their own video analytics. Each account should permit customization of players with individual branding and logos.
- Ideally, the platform should streamline the export of selected videos to various social media channels, including YouTube. Additionally, the platform should include detailed rights management and billing/accounting/storage/usage data for each campus or department.
- The system should allow for the delivery of videos behind a firewall for Intranet use.
- The preferred vendor will offer 24/7 support. Integration with a video captioning service, preferably 3PlayMedia, is desired to facilitate quick captioning and automated uploads of captioning files.
- for a la carte pricing as some campuses have different needs than others. Examples of additional functionality that may be sought by some campuses include the creation of content-specific content libraries based on topic, social media integration to post to other channels, etc.
