Expression of Interest are invited for Provision of Consultancy Services to Carry out Wind Resource Assessment for Eight (8) Proposed Sites, under the Energy Sector Reform Support Project (Esrsp).

The Consultancy Services are Expected to be Executed for a Duration of 25 Calendar Months.. The Consultant-s core duties will include but not limited to:
a) Site Assessment of the eight proposed sites for suitability of the establishment of wind farms;
b) Designing an appropriate technology for measuring wind at a height of 80 - 100m at each proposed site;
c) Installation of an appropriate technology for data collection for at least 12 months and analysis of wind energy potential to ascertain power that could be generated at each site;
d) Prioritisation of the sites in terms of the potential to generate power;
e) Detailed feasibility studies on the potential sites including any grid reinforcement that will be needed to connect the plant to the grid;
f) Carrying out ESIA studies conforming to AfDB standards; and
g) Capacity Building.
