Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Provision of Facilities (Mechanical Modification and Upgrade Works in Oml 17)

The scope and services required for FACILITIES MODIFICATION AND UPGRADES shall include but not limited to the following:
1. Mobilization own transport spread, equipment, personnel, and supplied materials to work sites.
Mechanical (pre-fabrication works)
2. All pre-fabrication and fabrication work, requisite piping works for the realization of the works shall be fabricated/modified in all respect, as to achieve substitutions and hook-ups.
3. Contractor shall provide all materials and equipment necessary for carrying out hydrostatic pressure testing of all spool pieces or fabricated pipe works e.g stud bolts, gaskets, blind flanges, pumps, recorders etc. in accordance with COMPANY DEPS to the test pressure specified on each isometrics piping drawing.
Piping Works: The making of all field bends, cut pipe lengths as required and make welds in accordance with COMPANY DEPS.
Inspection, Testing and Radiographic Examination of Welds.
Carry out examination on 100% of welds on piping, 10% radiographic examination of structural butt welds and 100% magnetic particle inspection (MPI) on structural fillet welds.
All personnel, equipment and materials required for radiography shall be supplied by the contractor and shall be subject to company-s pre-mobilization inspection prior to deployment or utilization on the project.
Painting works
Painting of all newly installed/modified pipe works and production units installed in the cause of any facilities (Mech Modification & Upgrades)
Civil works:
1. Earth excavation and construction of new concrete foundation base for new installation;
2. All reinforcement shall set out as indicated on approved AFC drawings.
3. Form work for the casting of concrete foundations shall be constructed in accordance with COMPANY DEPS.
Walkways; and extension/construction of a new and inert-connecting peripheral gutter and collection channels linking new construction and process areas.
DEMOBILIZATION ACTIVITIES
Following the acceptance of the work by company and contingent upon satisfactory completion of the commissioning and acceptance phase, the contractor shall demobilize from site.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
3.1 To be eligible for this tender exercise, interested Tenderer are required to be pre-qualified in the 3.05.01 - Steel/Piping/Mechanical Services and 3.05.12 pipe fitting and welding services, (Product/Service) category in Nipex Joint Qualification System (NJQS) database. All successfully pre-qualified Contractors in this category will receive invitations to Tender.
3.2 To determine if you are pre-qualified and view the services category you are listed for; you may login to vendors.nipex.ng.com and access NJQS with your log in details. Click on ‘continue joint qualification scheme tool. Click on ‘check my supplier status- and thereafter click on ‘supplier product group-.
3.3 If you are not listed in a product/service category that you are registered with (NURPC) to do business. You may contact Nipex- office at 8 Bayo Kuku Road, Ikoyi. Lagos. With your DPR or (NUPRC) certificate as evidence for necessary update.
3.4 To initiate the JQS pre-qualification process. You may access www.nipex.ng.com to download the requisite application form, make necessary payments and contact Nipex office for further action.
3.5 In addition, Tenders shall also be required to comply with the Nigerian content requirements in the Nigerian oil & Gas industry content development Act 2010.
