The United Nations intends to seek offers for air transportation services to undertake strategic movement of all its Military/Police and civilian personnel, approximately 80, 000 - 100, 000 (two-way movement) Peacekeepers per year with their baggage entitlement, between Troop/Police Contributing Countries and United Nations Peacekeeping Missions, expected to replace the current contracts. The full details of the requirements will be provided in the solicitation documents. Description of Requirement:1. The United Nations is seeking several Aircraft types that may operate in the Global Movement of Troop/Police Contributing Countries to the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission. It is expected that the UN will utilize at least one dedicated Aircraft with a backup Aircraft that, when needed, will be flown simultaneously. The UN is also seeking multiple Aircraft types that will not be dedicated to the UN to conduct troop rotations in specific routes where the dedicated Aircraft cannot operate. Sufficient lead notice shall be provided to the operator to ensure timely provision of the non-dedicated aircraft. 2.
