This CfT needs to address the following requirements: • Procurement of SMS messages. • Deliver SMS messages to local and international numbers. • Support one-way messaging. • Support two-way messaging when required by MITA. Note the two-way messaging might require additional discussions with MCA vis-a--vis the numbering schemes as well as conformance with national legislation in this regard. • Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLA) to ensure reasonable timeframes to resolve any issues encountered during live operation. The target audience of this service shall be the: • Public Sector - the public sector will use the notifications portal to send SMS notifications to the citizens, businesses, within ministries, departments and/or entities. • Public - the public citizen will receive SMS notifications from various government ministries, departments, and entities
